Today, I'm gonna show you how to make these really cool roses out of bacon. And I'm gonna be using this bacon from Danepak. They're sponsoring this video and sent me some to try.

Start by placing some bacon on the chopping board, fold over one edge; then roll it up from one end all the way to the other. Pick it up, hold it together with a cocktail stick, and open out the top. Place them on an oven tray, and they're ready to cook!

If you're "Danepak serious" about bacon, you can double it up and roll two rashers together. These reclosable packs saves you needing cling film and keeps it nice and neat. When you've got a tray full, place them in the oven to cook. I cooked mine for 25 minutes at 200 degrees C. Make sure they're crispy on the outside and cooked all the way through. When they're done, take them out, and leave them to cool.

Next, we need to take a skewer. And I'm using spinach as a leaf. Take your bacon rosebud and stick it on top—and there we have our finished bacon rose! You can make a whole load of them—I recommend twelve—and place them in a vase. They look really good, they taste fantastic, and they're great for parties! Pretty cool, huh? If you prefer, you can plate them up and serve them for breakfast.
