Amy and Ben are a young couple. They are having dinner together in a restaurant to celebrate Amy's birthday.
What are you going to order?
I thought I might try the lobster.
Lobster! It's a bit expensive. Why don't we share some pasta? The cheese and tomato one is nice here.
OK then. What about a starter?
Do you really need a starter? We had a late lunch today.
Well, I am kind of hungry. How about the seafood soup, since I can't have lobster?
Hmm. The onion soup is a lot cheaper. I bet it's just as good, too.
OK, OK, I get it. It's only my birthday! No big deal! I'll have onion soup then. I think bread comes free with it, so that might prevent me from starving.
What's wrong with you? I'm just trying to save money.
I've been looking forward to this meal all day. We can afford it.
Take it easy. Anyway, it's not good to eat too much. I hope you're not planning to order dessert as well.
Jeez. Maybe I should have brought some sandwiches along!
