How to Create an Invoice
如何寫費用清單
So, starting with your company name, make sure you include the date of that invoice, the invoice number, the bill-to and ship-to for the customer (they're often different), your purchase order number, terms of when you're gonna be paid that you've agreed with the customer, the rep (if this is applicable), and when everything is shipped.
先寫公司名稱，一定要記得寫上開費用清單的日期、清單編號、客戶的清單寄送地址和商品寄送地址（通常都不一樣）、你的採購訂單號碼、你和客戶協調好的付款日期、銷售員（如果有的話）、還有商品寄送日期。
This is for the quantity. So we got our Magic Shoes, a pair of those. Make sure you have your item number in here. The description—well, these shoes can talk. Isn't that amazing? How much it is per each, and then the total amount per that category...really straightforward. Include your tax, if there is any, and then the total.
這裡是寫數量。我們有我們的魔法鞋，一雙。一定要在這裡寫下商品編號。商品描述－－哇，這雙鞋子會講話。是不是很厲害？一雙多少錢，接著是那個品項類別的總金額...很直觀。包含稅額，如果有的話，接著就是總金額。
I mean, it's basic stuff—kinda like a "no duh" situation. But it's surprising how many people face problems down the road for not putting in the right item number, description, amount, or even the right category—so that they can track all of this stuff. Because this is a record you obviously want to keep, whether there is a problem down the line with the customer, or you also just wanna track the different items that are coming in and out, how often they're shipping, your costs, etc.
這其實是很基本的東西－－有點像是「這不是理所當然嗎」的狀況。但滿令人驚訝的是，有好多人之後遇到麻煩，因為他們沒有寫對商品編號、商品描述、總金額、或甚至是正確的品項類別－－這樣他們才能追蹤這些東西。因為這是你一定得留下來的紀錄，不管是不是日後和客戶之間出問題，或你只是想要追蹤進進出出的不同商品、商品寄送頻率、成本等等。
So make sure that you know how to put together an invoice. There's a lot of software and programs that can do this for you if you're doing this through a spreadsheet.
